Prerequisite Requirements for the Preliminary Multiple/Single Subject Credential with EL Authorization:
- EDUC 315: Teaching in a Multicultural Setting (3 units) should be completed prior to beginning the 500 series
- ANTH/ENGL/SPAN 453: Language, Culture and Linguistics (3 units) Preferably taken as an undergraduate senior, but may be completed concurrently with the 500 series by petition
- SOCS/MATH 265C: Introduction to Statistical Methods (3 units) is strongly recommended for M.A. students
Note: Coursework from other colleges may sometimes fulfill prerequisite requirements. Contact Graduate Admissions to determine whether a course you have taken or plan to take will fulfill a requirement.
